Mums new doggy Sally Anne is being a bit of a problem with this, she is fine when my Mum is around, but literally as soon as mum walks out of a room she panics and runs after her, its not too bad as mum works from home, but every morning she takes my brothers to school and does have to do some visiting for her work, Id say at the most Sally gets left for 4 hrs a couple of times a week and 10 mins a day to take the boys to school. Mum has left her to roam the house and come bk to stuff destroyed, so has had to crate her while she leaves her. She has left a stuffed kong in her crate, water, and toys, and has left the radio on, however she does look a bit distressed when put in there. She was crated before Mum had her, so maybe she is just making a fuss over nothing. This dog has been in a pack of 6 for her whole life, she is now 7 yrs old, so she prob misses the pack, and she has had a lot of change in the last 3 weeks, but even tho mum has Arf, her other dog she is just sooo clingy to mum. Does anyone have any seperation anxiety tips? Mum is obviously aware these things take time to settle down and that Sally has had a lot of change, but if anyone has any tips we'd be grateful to hear! |
