I can't offer much other than to try to leave for very short periods - slowly building to longer ones. I know Jess was only a Pub when I was doing this with her - I would leave her for a few minutes, just going outside and walking around the house a couple of times - slowly I built on this so I could leave her without any fuss or anxiety. I would always tell her I was going shopping and would be back soon, even now if I have to leave her for any length of time I still tell her I am going shopping and will be back, she immediately recongnises she's going to be left and goes to her bed [although I often find she's been up on my bed and lay on my PJ's whilst I'm away  ] This will not be a quick fix, Poor Sally Anne has had some major changes in her routine all at once so it's going to take time but I am sure once 'Sally Anne' [just love her name  ] realises your Mums coming back she be fine. As usual with our doglets - perserverence has to be the 'key' word. Edited by Lu20, Jan 8 2009, 02:30 PM.
