I'm the proud owner of George :wub: , hes a patterdale/lakeland who was from a local rescue kennel about3 months ago. He's 3ish we think. Not sure about his history the kennel thought he'd just been a stray, but he's got great house manners and is very loving so not sure if thats true or if he had just done what he does and got lost on one of his runaways. he's a typical patterdale, got the selective hearing and recall, so its been great to read the posts about that. We live in a little ex mining village in County Durham so theres lots of rabbits and for him to chase. Sometimes this is a huge problem but I'm learning to manage it. We've jsut passed our Kennel Club Good Citizen Bronze award which was great and now I'm looking into agility classes for him cos I recognise he's never going to be an obedience star, he's got too much of a mind of his own. Well, I'll get back to reading some more posts and learn some more Kerry and George
