If any of you have been reading Fred's blog, you might know he's been pooing in the house a lot lately. I've been walking him more, so he is less likely to be saving it up for night time, or when I'm out, then I got home today to find two wees in my kitchen! I don't know if this is a separation issue, or a physical problem (will be asking the vet next week) but I've decided to get a litter tray for him anyway. Any ideas on how to teach him to use it? I wasn't even out that long today - some days it's 6 hours but this week I've not been so busy and have only been out 3-4 most days. Perhaps it's the frequency of how often I am out, rather than the length of time!? Although the other day I was upstairs having a bath, can't have been out of the room more than 20 minutes and he'd pooed in the dining room. :( I was hoping dog walking I could take him with me every day, but it's not working out so far. |
