If it was just poop I'd be thinking along the lines of - maybe it hurts to squat so he is leaving it until he can't wait any longer and if I'm not around to let him out he's got to go, but he's got no such problems having a wee. I've emailed his behaviourist as well, to see if it's something he's come across. Probably have to wait a week for a reply, but ho hum, he's a busy guy!
