Something like that would be perfect, but I'm not sure I like the idea of pooing on a grate. Sounds a bit tricky to clean if there's a mucky one! Fred has been good this week as I've been home from work, so we'll see. A friend of mine has sent me some info which I hope will help - she said she's observed some SA type behaviour from him (she's a non-practicing behaviourist).

I may follow Barbara Woodhouse's* advice of using turf in the tray I bought. Wonder if the neighbour's will notice missing squares from their lawns! :doh:

* I've got some of her old books, and while some things have moved on, she recommends puppies are kept in what look very like rabbit hutches (but bigger) with turf to use as a loo for times the pup needs a secure area. Not much different from the crates people recommend these days?
