just read this thread, what a rubbish time you've had but it seems like you've had great support from the folks on here, To repeat what the others have said, you shouldn't have to put up with randoms assaulting you! I wish I had words of wisdom to offer you but I'm afraid I can;t add anything to previous posts.

the only thing I can say really is that there have been times when George is lucky he hasn;t come back when I called him cos he'd given me the run around so much I was furious! Now I just find somewhere to sit while I wait for him, as long as I can see him and I have time to wait its cool, if I haven't got time for it, he doesn't get off the lead - simple as that! learned that after the 6am before work trudge through a field of horses with all the neighbours watching as he barked and chased the horses around the field behind our street!

I work full time too so George is left along for long periods but he seems to cope well with it, he ahs the run of the house, found that he dug the carpets up to get into closed rooms to see if I was there. So all I can offer is don;t feel guilty for leaving them, I think we'd be hard pushed t find homes for dogs with someone home most of the time these days.

Keep going, sounds like youre doing great and I agree that you need to relax and enjoy your dogs.
