I wouldn't use any cream on a dogs mouth, simply because of the mouths ability to heal itself, but Arnica is perfectly safe for use on dogs. Homeopaths regularly prescribe it for oral ingestion, in tablet form or tincture. "Arnica is an essential in any natural treatment first aid kit - the first remedy to use for any case of shock and can be used for every kind of injury, wounds (tablet form), sprains, strains, bruises and swelling. Taken in tablet form it helps to stop bleeding. Emotionally it helps to calm the nerves after an injury. Do not use arnica/tincture on broken skin."
