It sounds as if Twiglet is a perfectly normal puppy and I think she should be allowed to get on with that without being sprayed with anything. I pretty much agree with here as far as it's humanly possible to not use aversives. I did however during the handbag fight months keep a saucepan of water to the ready - only had to use it a couple of times and one of those was when I had four young welsh in the garden together. They went from a huge battle to playing nicely for the rest of the day, any grumbles and all I had to do was look like I was going to get out of the deckchair!
