took the boys out separately this morning and both did really well :ok: . I don't think I've ever seen george so well behaved, i was so proud of him! I think I've done them both an injustice by treating them the same, you're totally right, they're both at such different stages in training and getting to know and respect me and of course the difference in age means they need different things.

Just a thought, will it make any difference to them if I take the same dog out first each time or should I alternate who goes first. george went mad when i first went out with harry, what do you think?

I usually take the least pushy one out first if I've got two to walk and can't do them together, but that's normally a m/f pairing.

What the age/size/castration status of the dogs? When I'm walking my little 'packs' they sometimes all wee on the same spot, and if with your two it's obviously one of the dogs who covers the other dog's wee all the time, I'd do that one first. If your dogs are close in age, size and are both entire or done then it can get a bit more complicated.

Or, you could just alternate which one, so they don't get used to one of them being first all the time - that helps if you have to leave one behind for other reasons.
