I always use cold tea with any eye problem. Though unlike Kimmy I always do it first before going to the vet! Brandy has been spayed hasn't she? It could be Dry Eye which is basically drying out of the mucus membranes and happens in spayed dogs ..... and menopausal women ..... if it is, it's no real biggy. There's a simple, quick test that the vet can do and there are pharmaceuticals available to help with it. Boo (of course she would!) has it, I found out because I hadn't been overly scrupulous at keeping them clean from pollens (normally I wash eye's out once or twice a week during the summer) she got an infection - because her eye balls were drier than normal it hung on way past the cold tea stage and she needed an antibiotic to shift it. I decided not to go with the percription drugs and opted for daily tea bathing and at last years health check the vet said they were in excellent condition. |
