She's obviously not a mean dog so it isn't in her to be nasty towards Twiglet and so if this is her worst I wouldn't be too worried. She also might have picked up on your negative feelings about work and the excitement about the new job may just have left her feeling unsettled; after all, she doesn't know that she's going to be a major beneficiary of the new work changes - all she knows is that something new is on the horizon and right now, it could be good or it could be bad. Brandy's a clever dog and with intelligence often comes sensitivity, so she can pick up on things quickly. Once the new routine kicks in I'm sure she'll be fine.
