Well you've certainly ticked all the right boxes as to what sort of companion you are anticipating :ok: A good Border will meet all this and more.Some BT owners have said they have a tendency to wander but mostly that's down to not being taught recall early enough - they are working Terriers and anyone who takes a Border on must realise that.They may go off after intriguing scents,they may want to kill small furry animals but will live perfectly happily with said furries in their own home.But Duncan I find is very biddable,he was very easy to train as a pup and is very obedient now,Daisy my wee rescued dog is obedient when she wants to be :rolleyes: but that is also partly my fault as I wasn't consistent enough with her training - and that is the key to training Borders,and all Terriers,they are smart little dogs and if you let them get away with bad behaviour more than once they will expect to do the same every time :D
Marie Harvey looks totally disgusted in that photo - can't say I blame him :lol:
