I'm at mums as they have gone to Plymouth for the day on a pre arranged day trip. They gave Sam worming tablets yesterday morning and during the evening he became very quiet and then when out in the garden kept squatting down like he was trying to go to the toilet. He was still the same this morning although managed to go to the toilet but still kept squatting and laying down frequently. As they had this coach trip planned also taking my 86 year old uncle and Sean was home he took Sam into the vets this morning. The vet gave him a thorough check over and couldn't find anything obvious she said the tablets shouldn't have caused it but didn't really know. Suggested him to only have rice and chicken to eat for a couple of days. She did give him two jabs Duphamox and dexadreson (Sean seemed thinks one was an anitibiotic and the other anti imflammatory) Anyway after work I called in to pick Sam up to take him and Harv for a walk. Got outside mums and he promptly sat down and refused to budge. He was having none of it so I had to drag him back in as he didn't want to do that either. He then wouldn't go in the kitchen but just laid down in the hall. Anyway thought I'd leave him and go and get Harvey, gave him his walk then returned to mums, let Sam out the back he did a wee then was squatting again for around 10 mins trying to go, only managed a small squit. Going to pick Hlly up from school in a minute so will try again to walk back to our when we get back but if not will have to leave him, mum and dad are expected back by six so wont be too long. Anyone else had this reaction before?
