Well we kept Archie on the chicken to give it the benefit of the doubt but his 2 hotspots haven't gone away (haven't got worse, but haven't cleared up). Just had to take him to the vets as he started scooting so he's had problems with his glands too! He's now got antibiotics too. We're off on holiday for a few days with no freezer so no raw meat on the menu - I've got some Turkey & Rabbit naturediet and will look at putting him on something else when we get back. I had made up my mind to try the raw turkey but am a bit concerned that as its so sloppy he'll just end up with blocked glands again :err: It might be the price to pay in the short term to find a meat that he will not actually react to! I will have to look out for some turkey bones I guess. |
