Since pretty much March we have been crating Bob whenever we are out, this is after letting him have the run of the kitchen and him chewing so many things.

He hates the cage - never wants to go in, but once he's in he's fine.

Just lately (last 3 or 4 weeks) we have been letting him have the run of the house for 3-4 hours at a time while we have been out, and apart from chewing a couple of minor things (shoe inner soles and a loo roll), he's been great and seems to love being upstairs snoozing on the bed and being able to look out of the window.
Strange as, when we first adopted him, he had the run of the kitchen and back hall and chewed everything  !

I just wondered if anyone had experienced this and if you have any thoughts!
Is it just the fact that he's settled in or the fact he can see out of a window?! I thought they can get anxious if they have too much area to patrol!

Thanks
Rachel x
