How about getting in contact with Welsh/Lakie/Smooth/Wire/Vulnerable Breeds breed writers for the two weekly papers? They publish their email addresses at the end of their weekly columns and must be desperate for something to put in each week. I'm sure that would get the local terrier owners support.
