It's a sort of bladed rake, the length of coat taken off is determined by the number of blades per inch. Having taken advise from other Ciarn owners my friend bought the 16" and generally costs about £20. I was so impressed I bought one to use on my dogs - my experience has been different to many folks in that it hasn't made their coats loose texture, if anything it's improved! Another good buy is a rubber car mat like the ones you find in cars to stand the dogs on, it gives good grip. |
