I've got so much work to do over the summer :yikes: with him though, because I want to make absolutely sure he will drop on the whistle anytime & anywhere. Slowly but surely is the way forward... My ambition is to get his brakes working so well that he will drop even when he's just flushed 2 pheasant and a snipe all at once - as happened today on a farm visit and he was stopped only by a dry stone wall because he still is under the deluded belief that if he launches himself skyward with enough force, he can fly! Stupid dogbot

One of my friends has a patterdale that she takes beating and we are going to have training sessions some evenings now it is getting lighter.
