I wash him every couple of weeks just because he does smell; it's just a doggy smell, nothing worse which could indicate an infection. He is entire because when I got him he was about 4 and half to 5 and I had to do a lot of behaviour work. I was told that having him neutered at this stage may not be a good thing. I've bought some deodorising shampoo to see if that helps. He has his annual check up in a couple of weeks so I'll mention it. Quote from my daughter's house when she was dog sitting "Sandy, what on earth is that awful smell?" "Oh it's just my mum's dog!". That's how strong it is! |
