BorderDawn Duncan's farm bred from Exmoor - pedigree name Harkforrard Dunkery (hence Duncan!) His mum and sister have the most amazing life, out with the horses every day, acres and acres of Exmoor to roam. They also follow the Hunt - not my thing but they are true working dogs.I'm sure that farm bred dogs are the best! Nothing fazes him,the very first day I went to see him the puppies were in the yard and had gunea fowl, horses in stables, sheep and cattle in fields and at least 6 other farm dogs milling around.Duncan never gets under my feet - think that's because they needed to avoid all that livestock! Will look up his pedigree and let you know the background. He's my first Border and I'm totally smitten,he's such a little sweetheart - but i need to be careful - under all that sweetness is a strong desire to rule the world - and especially me!

Had to do a double take of Breeze's head shot, she's the spitting image of Buffy!

Buffy started agility a few months ago and she really loves it! She is going to be one of those that barks all the way round. Her first show may be the one on the 4th Sept at the Southern Border Terrier show, can't wait!

Lovely photos Tracy, I love the computer one! I show mine too, where did Buffy come from? What is her breeding? Is she related to Toby? All questions, but I am like a Pig in s**t where Border babes are concerned. Funnily enough, my Connor's mom is called Buffy too, she will be 15 in August.

Toby is not KC registered although his mum was his dad wasn't, he came from a farm near Ipswich. Toby is so laid back he is horizontal, he hasn't got a nasty bone in his body and will always let any foster come into the house wth no problems. Buffy on the other hand has to put them in their place.

Buffy came from Llanelli and is one of the first litter from Bramble (can't remember her KC name). Buffy's dad is an Oxcroft and if I remember rightly there is a fair bit of Oxcroft in the line - which is probably where she gets her feistiness at times.

I didn think about showing her but I think her tail is too long. She also won't stand still for more than a second and would mug any judge who came near her!

"Oxcroft" usually produce good heads, she certainly has that! All mine have Oxcroft behind them somewhere. Wouldnt worry too much about the tail if that is all that is wrong with her, she looks a star! Mouths are the worst problem really.
