When we had Ebony, after a few days once she'd settled in she started "playing" by herself, and with nothing. She used to throw imaginary things in the air and chase after them, and play bow and growl at no-one. There was plenty of toys about to keep her busy, but she preferred to do this

The past couple of nights Holly has started to do the same thing  YoYo has never done it, so can anyone shed some light on it???

Do you know I think you're on to something!

Thinking back through all my canine pals, past and present....its only ever the ladies who have done this...

It will be interesting to see if anyone has some different observations

OMG!! how strange, Jazz my beardie used to do it, and i'd never noticed but so does Pebbles! :o

Amber i think may still be too young and will play with anything or nothing but i had put this down to her being just a pupster!...........It MUST be the girls, then again i've never had a dog, only ever been a bitch owner.

 Heidi used to have what we bullie nut's call a "Bullie Run" around the house. She would all of a sudden out of the blue start running as fast as she could with her head down and her back legs trying to run faster than her front round my living room furniture up the stair's on the beds (weather anyone was in them or not! ) and back again for another lap or two, then she would try and get you to play by hopping up and down infront of you untill you gave in. Does that sound crazy enough to qualify lol....

Roxy does the Bullie run as well. But she doesnt stop when she comes to the cupboard doors or the walls she uses them as brakes, turns as she hits them and carries on at full spead. Have you ever been hit on the shin by a Bull Terier block head OWWWW :yikes:
