We had Macey spayed yesterday -she's fine just a little tired and delicate but sporting her pink baby vest with pride :D ( keeps her off the stitches ) BUT Murph is a total wreck -he howled all night and is in a complete dither -I think the smell of the blood makes him think she's in season :eh:
I've washed most of it off and put some strong perfume on the edges of the vest but he's just bloomin awfull !
what do you think ??....if this carries on I'll have to kennel him for a few days

I've never had a bitch spayed yet (Ebby was already spayed, and Holly is due to be done in March) so I can't really comment...

Perhaps he's just picking up that she's poorly and feels sad for her :D

Hope someone else can be a bit more productive

Hope she continues the way she is. Good news.

Re: your male.
I took my bitch out working on Wednesday, and on returning I found she had 3 small cuts on the top of her front leg. They are healing fine, but the boys think she is WONDERFUL    Just like she is in season, so I think it must have the effect you are speaking of.
Dawn.
