Well we finally made it "over"! I'm Lynne and I own (or should that be I'm owned by) Duncan the most gorgeous, most fantastic, handsomest, most intelligent, charming Border terrier in the world! (Not that I'm biased at all!!!!) :P .He was a year old on 14/01/05. We live in Somerset and spend hours and hours out walking on beautiful Exmoor and the Quantock Hills.I work full time - only until those little 6 balls come up though - in a college Library, enjoy my job but would dearly love to spend more time at home with Duncan. I had hoped to have had a second terrier by now but have put that on hold as have just had Duncan neutered. Will start looking very soon.My love affair with terriers began with my darling Zico a very large Yorkie who was my soul dog and died in October 2003 a week short of his 17th birthday. He was so special I didn't want another Yorkie but had to have a terrier - I adore their feisty nature and even their "I'll be good when I want to" attitude to life. I like most dogs but terriers are extra special as I'm sure you'll all agree! Will show Duncan off to you later!! |

:nw: Welcome to you and Duncan!! Hope you get another terrier soon!! SO sorry to hear about your Zico - I'd love to hear about him some time if it doesn't make you too sad. He certainly lived a good long life but that doesn't make it any less painful I know! We have two yorkies now (Gypsy Rose 19 months and Gizzie Chavi 7 months) but had two previous big yorkies Yogi and Gizmo who lived over 14 years. We had a Border Terrier once who lived next door to us and he was a character!! Think his name was Dylan! W elive in Cardiff and take our dogs away in our motorhome and Gyspy Rose has walked on the Quantock Hills and loved it! We will take Gizzie too as she must do everything that her big sis has done...!! Ana xx |
