Duncan is driving me crazy with incessantly hunting for food - and demolishing it! Why people can't throw their leftovers in litter bins I don't know! How can I stop this when he's off-lead? He will let me take food from him when he comes so worried that if I scold him he'll stop bringing it to me.Catch 22 really! or do I just have to resign myself to owning a greedy BT? But we've already had 1 upset tum that I'm sure was from rotting food. Thanks folks

Is it things that have fallen out of bins? Or is it all over the place?

The reason I ask is that you could call him to you to avoid the bins, but if it's anywhere it's more difficult!

A lot of it seems to be in hedgerows but they're also very interesting cause there might be squirrels too! I've never noticed how much food is lying around until I had him.

 Oh dear... I suppose I could advise you to keep him away from the hedgerows, but that's not much fun for Duncan!

Does anyone else have any ideas?

He is beginning to understand leave but by then it's usually too late! Think I'm probably just going to accept that if I want him to have freedom and run free upset tums are to be expected!

Mine too! They are all Champion Cat Poo Hunters! The tastiest truiffles ever invented, and manna from heaven as far as they are concerned!
I uselessly try and call them away (which just makes them scoff faster), but I'm often too busy gagging and heaving to make any noise :yikes:
