I have no idea, but i do know my old dog used to sulk terribly if we had one and she did not get one to herself,
when i was pregnant, ice cream was my craving, but it had to be from a small kiosk on the seafront a mile from my home, so i would regualy be seen sitting on the sea wall stuffing ice cream, so much so the women running the kiosk, would see my car pull in and have my ice cream waiting for me, anyway, Brindle would sit patiently by my side at the kiosk and wait until they gave her one to, before she would proudly carry it to the wall and sit smugly beside me chomping and licking away, (it had to be in a cornet or it just wasn't good enough for her,)

Pip loves ice lollies and eats the frozen ice poles i think he likes the crunchy ness of it , but will eat ice cream too. ( ice poles are homemade with milk and yoghurt,) before everyone tells me that it is not good for the dog.
Happy licking.

I don't give mine ice-cream but if they find it lying on the street they are in like a shot! Guess it's the sugar content combined with the milk they love. Many years ago my mother had a pet pig - Prince - the runt of the litter and he adored ice-cream! he used to come with us on car trips and would sit licking his own cone - didn't dare not get one for him  Absolutely briliiant animal - such intelligence...

God I hope not. Dudley adores it and even knows the sound of his favourite ice cream van.
