I'm afraid I wimp out and have the vet nurse do them for me. I spent months trying to get Archie desensitised to the clippers - hated them from the moment I got him. I'm assuming that no one introduced him to clippers in a nice way! Rather than let them get too long the nurse does them now, without me present so he doesn't associate it with me. Its all over within minutes - far less stressful for him! |

yep, that was nail clippers! I have to admit I've got a bit of an addidtion to hand stripping him... I see a stray bit and can't resist taking it off! Have to control myself really as his skin does better if I do a big patch at once then give him a soothing bath. Trimming his feet hair is another matter - he knows what the scissors are for and is not keen at all! I tend to save that for when he's knackered after a busy day :lol: |
