Just back from the emergency vets. We picked Hettie up today at 5.30 and everything was fine, we had been told that a small blood loss was normal. Hettie was still bleeding at 6.45 so we phoned the vets and were told to go to the emergency surgery. Hettie was okay but her blood loss was more than was normal so she has had to have a pressure bandage on and we have got to go back to the vets in the morning. This happened last time but luckily it happened while we were still at the vets. I just hope that nothing else goes wrong  .Need to think positive!!

Just back from the vets. Hetties wound is a little better today but she has had another pressure bandage put on for the next 2 days. The vet has said that if Hettie needs surgery in the future she will have her blood tested to see if it is clotting properly. She is a bit better this morning, just a little grumpy- but who can blame her!!

Poor Hettie  Holly had a green pair like that when she was spayed and had her tumours removed, but they went under her tail too

Hope she's feeling better, and I bet she's milking it for all it's worth ;)
