Moderator Posts: 22,636 Group: Moderators Member #48 Joined: February 5, 2005	She's going in for her spay tomorrow at 8.30am and while I know it's a routine procedure and loads of people have been through it she's my little girlie and I hate the thought of her being in pain. :( Taking time off work until Tuesday to keep an eye on her and also to make sure Duncan isn't his usual boisterous self with her. I know you might have a sore tummy for a bit but it will be worth it in the end - and you'll get pamperred loads while you get better. She'll be much happier with a wee t-shirt on ;) A collar isn't likely to last long on a terrier anyway :lol: I'll be thinking of her (and you!) tomorrow :flower:

Holly had a kiddies nightie on when we had her spayed. She ignored them completely until I took it off to try her, then she went on a mad licking spree, so it went back on. Don't know if it was the scent of blood, but when she came home from the vet Yoyo sure got horny... :unsure: :lol:

Moderator Posts: 22,636 Group: Moderators Member #48 Joined: February 5, 2005	Dropped her off at 8.45,Duncan was looking for her in the car and at home when we got back :wub: She had a screaming match with a little Shi-Tsu in the reception area :rolleyes: and pulled madly when the nurse took her away :( Bought a little babygro from the charity shop for her - the assistant was quite amused when I told her what is was for as I'd spent about 5 minutes comparing measurements of 3 or 4,but it was the PDSA shop!I'm sure she'll be just fine but of course we all worry and my darling Zico had a very bad reaction to an anaesthetic once and even though it was 15 years ago I'll never forget how frightening that was.Thanks for the good wishes,it does help.

Moderator Posts: 22,636 Group: Moderators Member #48 Joined: February 5, 2005	I'll be logged out in 3 minutes,then off home.Have to call vet at 2.00pm.Not sure if I'll be able to leave her tomorrow,really does depend on Duncan so don't worry if I'm not on board tomorrow,should be back in the Library on Saturday to let you know how things are.Poor wee girlie,off to to Tesco to get chcken breasts for her tea - and I suppose Duncan migh just get a smidgeon too.
