Why is it that when my JRT is sick, he always finds the hardest-to-clean surface to vomit on? I used to have a lovely sheepskin rug until it had pigs ear regurgitated over it this summer, and this evening my little darling donated his dinner to my pretend wolf fur throw. My lurcher never does this. My JR has cost me a couple of duvets over the years too. Honestly, no wonder non-doggie people think we are a bit cracked! Chris |

well I think my speedy has joined forces with your dog, am going to have to make an appointment with the vet tomorrow, he has vomited 6 times since last night, horrible slimey brown and yellow stuff, he is still lively and running about though so do not think its to serious, but best to get him checked over, his favourite place has been the quilt on my bed so thats got to go in the washing machine tomorrow as well. I am sure they do it to upset us. Irene |

Oh dear
:( Whenever Yoyo is sick it's usually straight in front of wherever he happened to be (unless of course he's on his bed, then he'll be sick on the carpet  ) Sheepskin rug and dog sick :yikes: |

What did the vet say about Speedy? Hope he is feeling better now. BTW - I had a tortoise called speedy when I was little. Chris |

Poor speedy
 I dont think my lot actually look for a place to be sick, it just happens where ever they are. Although Nooodles the cat, he can puke the most revolting things up  and we never are sure what it is :err: Please let us know what the vet said though, and wish you well Speedy  |

the vet said he had picked up a virus so has given him antibiotics and anti inflamtory injections and for the next few days both speedy and poppy have to have bland diet of chicken and rice which will please them, also said that I had done the right thing by taking him in so quickly as it had not taken complete hold of him whereas if I had left it for another day or so he could have been a sick little dog, so proves the point don't delay where the health of you dog is at stake. mind you they are not happy dogs at the moment as the vet also said to not give them anything to eat until tonight and then only a little so they are both giving me the I am a starving dog act everytime I move about they dash into the kitchen and sit by their bowls its making me feel very guilty. Glad to hear Speedy will be fine - there are some things you just don't muck around with and get them to the vets asap. There 's nothing like little brown eyes following your every move when they are deprived of food - they are experts at making you feel a bad mum :D |
