I have always put Tia in a lovely Kennals it is bascially a farm that just takes a couple of dogs, lots of long walks and cow muck to roll in! but they are full when I go away in August :( . Tying to find another one (I live in Manchester) but websites dont give much info just numbers would be good to see some pics before checking them out. Even better if anyone can recommend one in Manc area dont mind travelling far out if its good. Thanks Vixs :)

I chose my kennel by asking at my vets (as they are also the vets on call to 2 kennels in the area). So not only do I get a vet recommended kennel, if Archie is ill then he'll have his own vet to treat him.

I can board 116 dogs and are full for the dates you are looking for, meaning, the better ones get booked first. Go look round, if you want to ask anything, feel free, I'll help all I can. Dawn.

I never actually went, but everyone who I asked recommended it. The name began with an A I think, Ashcroft or something like that. I'll look on yell.com for you... ;) :D

Squeaker Posts: 58 Group: Members Member #242 Joined: May 15, 2006	Thanks all, my hubbys boss has got a couple of labs and recommended a kennels to him yesterday afternoon called Tabley Brook kennels they have a website and look good going to put her in for trial night on saturday see how she gets on, if she is ok will book her in for August. Shame my normal one is full but guess it will be handy to have a reserve if ever needed again. Thanks for all your advice :)

Had bit of nightmare this weekend dropped tia off at kennals that had been recommended to us on sat but after driving down motorway for hour we (me and my hubby) turned to each other and both said it just did not feel right leaving her there. Pathetic I know sure she would of been fine it looked ok but was very busy and very noisy so many dogs barking where we normally leave her they only take 9 dogs so its really relaxed and the dogs dont stress. Poor tia was so confused but very happy to see us. Pathetic arent I?!!
