Well yes, he does. And when outside they play and chase like crazy, though she has a cruciate ligament gone. Other times, its sort of a love/fear relationship! But she shows good restraint, though she is terrifying when trying to hamstring him. And he, bless 'im. He will purposefully go steal her ball, chicken, foo-foo etc. just to wind her up! RJL, you've hit his attitude right on the nail! He does give us a giggle, as he seems oblivious to the lowered head, scrunched up eyebrows and mouth hovering over his hind leg. He darts in, grabs whatever she is interested in, and tears off with it. He winds himself in our legs if he feels he needs some protection. The only serious ding-dongs have been over two issues. 1) fresh bones, so I am more careful about positioning them out of sight of each other. 2) Flynn jumping onto my bed, which Georgia can't do because of her dicky leg. I have set her up there with Flynn, but she is still really possessive about it  , so I have to get in there between them. :yikes: I have had to curb my tendency to interfere. She talks and grumbles a lot, but it is not aggression and so I have just tryed to keep my mouth shut and let them get on with it. I have been twice lucky now, with my rescue dogs. She sticks to me like glue, can be walked off lead and likes most other dogs, as long as they don't sneak up behind her. She does NOT like other cattle dog bitches. How the heck do they know what breed another dog is? |
