Much as I swore I'd never make Archie wear a coat, all the rain we've recently had is making me change my mind  I'm looking for something practical / understated (not burberry etc :P ) just to keep him dry on his bedtime trip round the garden so he doesn't have to go to bed soaking wet. For those of you who do use dog coats - how effective do you find them? Do they let much water in round the neck? |

I got a green wax one from PAH for Yoyo - it seems very good. I got it for him just because I don't like the smell of wet dog :D |

I've seen a good one on Country Mun website, but they are rather expensive :o I might buy a cheapy one to start with because of course he might refuse to wear it anyway  |

They look good.Daisy wears one in very heavy rain because she takes ages to dry off and I just don't have the time when getting off to work.Mind you she has been known to go in the stream wearing her coat  |

Oh thank you Ali, he does look very smart! The jacket looks very good, I'll have a proper browse in my lunch hour
;) Roxy and her peed on harness made me think - do boys tend to widdle on the belly straps of their jackets? or would that only happen if it fitted wrongly? |

Boys tend to wee sideways up a tree or the like which ever way they cock their leg up. Of course some just squat like girlees and I expect there are the ones who do gymnastics a la Roxy. You will have to watch Archie closely Claire to find out his repetoire  |
