Anyone read this lovely book? Finished it last night  Just a brilliant story about a man and his beloved companion and their life together. If you haven't yet read it I would highly recommend you add it to your Xmas list. ;)

No :ph43r:

However I did send my copy back to the library with pages stuck together with tears

Fantastic read one of the best books I have ever read (not read too many so not much to go on).

Had me howling with laughter and tears.

Would definately read it over and over.

Still in the best sellers section at WH Smith etc, £7.79 same price on Amazon and Tesco.com. Worth every penny. Its just a lovely read, yes the ending is sad as you can relate to all the ailments a senior dog can have and the enevitable (sp) ending, but there are plenty of laugh out loud moments. Personally I'm very glad that the author gave us the chance to share his life and experiences with his faithful friend. :walkies:

This is my absolute favourite book ! - I have now read it twice, and it made me laugh and cry both times. A real humerous and poignant look at how a dog affects your life.

I bought this last week and read it in 1 day. It was amazing - I cried probably most of the way through and laughed a lot aswell - truly a great book. Thanks for the recommendation!
