Finished it last night :cry: Just a brilliant story about a man and his beloved companion and their life together. If you haven't yet read it I would highly recommend you add it to your Xmas list. ;)

Had me howling with laughter and tears. Would definately read it over and over.

Total Gas Bag! Posts: 4,411 Group: Full Members Member #172 Joined: January 16, 2006	Still in the best sellers section at WH Smith etc, �7.79 same price on Amazon and Tesco.com. Worth every penny. Its just a lovely read, yes the ending is sad as you can relate to all the ailments a senior dog can have and the enevitable (sp) ending, but there are plenty of laugh out loud moments. Personally I'm very glad that the author gave us the chance to share his life and experiences with his faithful friend. :walkies:

Total Gas Bag! Posts: 2,577 Group: Full Members Member #146 Joined: December 5, 2005	This is my absolute favourite book ! - I have now read it twice, and it made me laugh and cry both times. A real humerous and poignant look at how a dog affects your life.
