Crufts has areas full of wood shavings for the dogs, they even have posts for the dogs to cock their legs up.

Yes Breeze block will be there! You can also walk your dog outside, there are outside exercise areas and a long strip of grass out the back, its very popular!

For those not wanting to drive (like me!) it is worth looking at the Crufts Schedule which you can donwload from the Kennel Club website. It has a section on transport & the contacts for people who are running coaches, many of which will do pick-ups at m-way service stations on the way down.

Logan & I went by coach twice and it worked really well.

Well, im going to be there on the Pro Plan stand (not sure what days yet) -and can probably offer a free cup of coffee to an TT peeps. I will definately come and see you Paula and Dudley and whoever else may be there! I spent 4 hours walking around discover dogs section last year looking mostly at the terriers as we were in the process of looking for our next doggy (which is now Peggy). We were quite taken by the Norfolk terriers but I did manage to look and cuddle lots of them whilst there :)

Having not been before would love to know what I'm in for, other than the obvious of course, lots of preened and pruned dogs and stands etc. Halfpint1775 said she spent 4 hours looking on the Discover Dogs stand, think it might be bigger than what I'm expecting ;)

It's a long time since I went but from what I remember you need-
A credit card with lots of credit
A nice big comfortable bag to carry all your goodies home in
Take your own food and especially drinks, the queues can be long and it's expensive
VERY comfortable shoes, old trousers that won't show 5 million dog hairs and pounds of slobber after all the cuddles :D
Discover dogs is to my mind the best bit oof it,I just loved being able to look at some wonderful dogs and speak to very knowledgeable enthusiastic owners.
A camera with plenty of memory space to post loads of photos ;)

I went for the first time last year and loved it! If you've not got hundreds of pounds to spend it's not great shoppingwise, but its a wonderful experience!!

I am probably/hopefully going this year agian :P

MM, terriers and hounds in the same place :P :P

We're going. We will be showing, taking two dogs a Lakeland and a SBT.

Shopping wise you can get some good deals at Crufts but you have to carry it around all day, which is a pain as some parts of the place can get bottled necked.

Hi All
Well, im working the Pro Plan stand and doing all 4 days on the till - mostly between 10-4pm - so should always be around middle of day for anyone wanting to pop in and say hello! We have an upstairs seating area so may be able to offer a free coffee and seat for 5mins if its not too busy up there :)
