Rather nice - although these days I'm lazy & just cut out the breast meat & do a stir fry or a slow-cooked casserole :rolleyes:

The season officially ended at midnight last night, so 8hrs late and at the direct request of the farmer, we agreed to help him. For the second year running somebody has dumped around 100/120 cock birds on his land, right at the end of the season. His crops are threatened and the birds in a strange area are everywhere!! 2 dead on the lane this morning, and a lot playing "chicken" :lol: Amazing though, get a gun out and they dissappear! -_- <_< Dawn.

Is that a common problem that people dump birds like that? I imagine its some dodgy gamekeeper that wanted rid. Hope they don't become a problem for the farmer!
