I got sick and tired of paying out good money on not-truly-washable or sturdy beds. I do not want polystyrene beads strewn all over the floor! The answer is .... http://www.barkaparka.com/ The barka parka bed is a bit more money, but they are fantastic. And they were right on my doorstep (Somerset - but they ship anywhere) all the time.

It keeps Flynn off the cold cold kitchen floor. There are two slip covers, completely washable. The tough inner bean bag has a nifty locking zipper. You can choose how full you want to stuff the bed. The ladies are real wonderful characters. I think they are wonderful!

Yes I know what you mean there are some lovely looking beds on the market at the moment but when you examine them closley they are not completely washable. When Gem is bathed or been to the groomers I like to wash her bedding too for all round freshness. These beanbags look excellent :)

They do look very good - Duncan has chewed through one of the cheaper bean bags - I swear I was picking up beads a month later

If anyone else is near Preston, TK Maxx have just got in a few absolutely lovely dog beds - suede ones, leather ones, velvetty ones..............and compared to the usual prices, they are reasonable enough to risk them being terrier-ised
