Hi Ollie, it's incredible the amount of folks who would totally dispute the fact that a fox would attack anything, never mind a dog. Years ago when I lived in London I was at home one afternoon when I heard my cat scream from the garden, looked out the window and saw him fighting off a fox. 5 minutes before the cat had been fast asleep in the exact same spot. It got to the point that I was taking the cat to the Vets about once a month to be stitched up from bite wounds - it had to be the fox - bite mark too big for a cat and there was only one dog who lived in the surrounding garden and the bite marks were too small for it to have been him. I got in contact with Urban Fox Rescue who told me I was completely mistaken, Foxes never behave in this manner! Had to hire a trap, bait it with rotting meat on a daily basis for a week, caught it and it was taken away to the countryside. An urban fox let loose in the middest of the country - I wonder how long it survived. - madness. |

I can't see the pics but I am sure they are good, showing your dogs off beautifully as always. My JRT doesn't have any hunting genes I don't think, she saw her first rabbit last week but never got close and as for squirels she doesn't sem to notice them she does however like birds! are your dogs natural hunters or did you have to encourage them? x |

No encouragement, its all natural breed instinct, I expect your JRT has a hunting instinct hiding somewhere :D |
