Lovely dogs mate,

Im looking for a parsons currently, and was wondering if they are born with broken and flat hair or is thier hair just cut?

The reason I ask is because I want a broken hair parson, so would I look specifically for a broken hair breed?

Also any idea where is a good place to look in the UK? as Im from Jersey Channel Islands I dont mind travelling.

Maybe you can tell me then - is this a Parson? His name's Alfie and his previous owner tells us he is - and from prize winning stock, no less!. Mind you, she also old us he needed microchipping when he was already chipped. And she couldn't afford to have his leg treated (he fell off a sofa aged 6 weeks. He's now 2 yrs) so for the past 2 years he's been hobbling around in pain from effectively a broken hip! His coat was in a dreadful state with mats and so he was half stripped and half shaved - sorry but it was the best they could do at the time given how uncooperative Alfie was being!

And here is holding up his poorly leg

(Took him to the vets and he's going to have surgery :yay: )

Poor Chap :o hopefully in a couple of weeks or so he'll be feeling much better.

It's difficult to tell fromt he photo, to be a Parson RT he'd have to be KC registered if British bred.

He is certainly one lovely looking lad though
