This is me desparately trying to keep a hold of Mayja who was entered into a class at Crufts - his mummy was taking the picture and he was left with me so no wonder the poor sod is crying

Plus I was bored and fancied defacing the picture

I had a fab day

Spent a lot of time in the bar with some Scottish people..

L-R Ann-Marie, Kenny, Me and Denise (no Kenny isn't touching my bum  )

Posted Image

Lots of time standing around the staffies (where else would I go!!)

Me and Patsy (Denise's mum)

Next time I will definately be going for more than one day as I spent so much time hobknobbing with staffie people that I didn't get a chance to buy anything

It was very strange being introduced to people by their real name and needed a username for anything to twig

I was!! Its not like me not to buy anything aswell

I've never come across that many dogs, let alone that many staffies in one place before  Saw the most gorgeous little Wire Fox terrier, very gutsy little thing squaring up to all the staffies he passed

Was quite disapointed not to have seen more EBT's about.

I did come face to face (literally) with an Irish Wolfhound - I have never seen a dog so big in my life :yikes: He licked my elbow when I was looking at the portraits on my way back to the train and thought it was someone trying it on, turned round and this dog was standing there!! Gorgeous though

Sadly Mayja got knocked out in his first class. He's a fab boy but gets a bit firey in the ring and tries to kill everything

I was fairly lucky as far as the feet were concerned, even though I went for the slightly unsuitable boots option as the insoles of my trainers are falling out  they didn't actually hurt one bit, my head was pounding by the time I got home though.

Looks as if you had a great time. When I got home from Crufts last year my head was thumping too. I put it down to having virtually every one of my five senses bombarded with all things canine. I felt totally overwhelmed...but still loved every minute.
