Don't think i've ever seen this on TV - but I might buy the mag from shop and if I like it - I may subscribe. BTW - poss wrong thread - but I have an AA 2007 Caravan and Camping book for UK&Ireland, small book of 500 family pubs, and B&B guide for 2007 - all by the AA. My AA publishing guy gave them to me as samples - does anyone want them? |

Well, I enjoyed my magazine but found it slightly lacking something... maybe not enough about walking for me, or maybe I just prefer watching John Craven than reading about him
 But I did see this in Millets today (haven't bought a copy yet) and yes there is a forum with it Paula  Country Walking |

I have had the country walking magazine for several years - it is good isn't it? I like the features and the walks are good. The equipment tests are good and I have bought stuff on the strength of their comments, my walking boots being my best buy. |

I found a great walking company in the small adds in the back - 'Andalucian Advenures'. They are a small company based near Stroud in Gloucester. They offer walking/Painting Holidays in Adalucia, although now they have branched out into other countries as well as the UK and now even offer Yoga as well! I have been three times with them and they are just wonderful. It's not a cheap holiday buy any means but it suits me being a single walker, there is no problem being on your own and are made to feel so welcome, most often the couples are split any way as one would paint - the other walk! I am hoping to go again next year - they used to offer a free week if you managed five walks with them!? |
