im still trying to figure out why youd be throwing border terriers over fences?is it some obscure country pastime ive never heard of? :woohoo:

  well suppose it would be easier than Daisy climbing them  Don't think I'll test the theory out though.

Wow - Fred has such a lovely head and expression. He's realy workmanlike :)

I've never seen anyone throwing a border over a fence, but at a judging seminar, Ann Roslin Williams whipped a stuffed otter's head out of her bag to show what an otter head should look like!

That's his 'you want me to what? fsssss, gonna cost ya. At least half an hour, at a rate of one bit of kibble every minute' expression!

I'd say he was Lakie from what I can see - Lakie's have pretty sturdy tails.

His head is almost blueprint - thick in jaw etc. Absolutely beautiful dark tan coloured coat - love to see more photographs of him.

I really do miss her column - such a shame the world has become so politically correct people like her are no longer allowed to call a spade a spade as they see it.

If you cannot pick up a border terrier by its tail and throw it over a fence, it's not a true border terrier.

:yikes:  This has me in stitches laughing! Never heard that before.

This thread is hysterical :D .

Who's the woman with the head in her handbag and where can I read about her or what she writes?

Although don't want to meet her, finding the dead animals head in her bag stuff a bit :yikes:

Imagine getting stuck in a lift with her and her handbag!!!!

Variety is the spice of life. :)
