Any tips? It seems that Hamish stayed white for about half an hour after he was clipped  His beard is getting a bit brown and he has turned a dirty shade of grey  So is there any shampoo or tips you can recommend to make him look white again?

Laura my lot are the same clean for half an hour then they look like dirty mops. I get my shampoo from groomers online and they are great. It doesn't matter what I do though as my lot much prefer the grey look.

I buy a shampoo for white dogs which usually brings Suzi up lovely but I'd have to bath her every other day to keep her white. She much prefers the grey look too.

Oh well at least he's not the only one then! At least he looks like he gets a walk, there is one round here that is always white and perfectly manicured. It never gets off it's lead :(

Sounds dreadful I know but bear with me, it really does work and means you don't have to bath him so often. Get a bar of grooming chalk, work into his coat and then brush out, it sort of collects all the dirt in the coat onto the brush and leaves all the natural oils!

Is that for horses or dogs?  Sounds like a good solution!

It's for dogs and it truely works! My chaps only go in the bath when they've rolled in something totally unforgivable, they can go for over 12 months without shampoo touching their coat and don't smell!
