Thought I would come back and add to this that I finally bought my new pair of wellies a few weeks ago. I tried on lots of brands - and actually didn't find the Hunter ones very comfortable or supportive so I ahve ended up with......a Muckboot. I went for the Tack style because they do them in pink and brown check  but these are fab! The material is that stuff wetsuits are made of on the top half of the leg - so its also stretchy and they fit my calves and I can even get my trousers inside there aswell! So far so good - my socks stay up, and they are mega comfy so can walk a good hour or so in them with no problems. Would highly recommend them to anyone! |

I love my muck boots as well. The neoprene means my fat calves aren't being rubbed raw like they do with some wellies  I do find them a bit hot though so will probably buy a pair of ankle boots as well. |

I've got a pair of Muck Boots too and love them, :ok: got them online from the muck boot company. I got the short ones which are great for the local park and I can easily fit even boot cut jeans into them as the Neoprene is nice and stretchy. I finally treated myself to a pair of Dubarry Boots at the weekend :woohoo: , but was too mean to buy the Dubarry socks at £15 for one pair :o ,will probably need a few pairs as once something goes into my laundry it could be months before it appears again   , does anyone know of any good boot socks a bit cheaper or are the expensive ones worth it? |

I love my Muck Books too - I have the Green ones and the Black ones - the Black ones are better in the dry weather because the tread on them is not so good as on the green ones but they are soooooooo comfortable and I will never ever ever get anything else. I would add that my Hunter ones wore down far too quickly to make them economical as I live in wellies for most of the year!! |
