There are some great walks to be had on the Blorenge - and because there is parking at the top there is very little effort involved and great views all around! This page details some of the routes you can take Blorenge Walks I park at the Foxhunters Carpark (by the Blorenge masts), head off NW past Foxhunter's grave and join the path from Keepers Pond going towards the Wireless Hut on the NE edge of the hill. You can then come back over the top past the trig point. Its about 4.5 miles and I allow 2.5 hours or so walking slowly and taking in the views! Its possible to do the whole walk off lead providing your dog has good recall: there are sheep and ponies on the hill. Some of the footpaths are narrow and there are steep sides at times. There are no toilet facilities but good parking spots. There is often an ice cream van at the Keppers Pond car park :) |
