absolutely gutted. dong has just been to vets today and isnt feeling great, took him out and hes stuck his head under somebodys garden gate only to be bitten by a big dog, hes ended up with a bald patch on the top of his head about 1cm in diameter, he didnt even yelp! it hasnt bled. do u think it will scar the poor dog? |

Would need to be a pretty big piece of skin taken off to leave a scar I would have thought.Is the wound clean,it's very easy for them to be infected from other dog bites. |

yes weve put some sudocrem on it. like i said the bite didnt make our dog bleed its just left a bald patch. im really peed off. |

one of my manchester terriers came off rather badly in a fight with one of my dobermanns many years ago.she had a terrible wound in the back of her neck.it was really big and looked horrible.i never for one minute thought it wouldnt leave a scar but it healed up completely and the only way you could see a scar was to part the hair there and look for it. |
