Newbie Posts: 6 Group: Members Member #721 Joined: September 8, 2008	Hello All, I am the owner of Red jack russel x lakeland, currently living with parents while our house we bought gets renovated. He's a lucky dog in that he also has sister (titch), mum (tess- lakeland) and dad (sid- jack) aswell as his half sister (mabel lakeland x border) living with him. + also chad - jack russel, buffy & ed - lurchers and also ben a saluki greyhound x we think. So theres 9 in all titch sid and tess are my brothers but hes got 1 bed house joined on to this one, so thet spend alot of time together and its easy to seperate the 2 jacks who fight on site sid and chad. I take red and titch out every day togther as they get on so well, thet come from a litter of 5 and the other 3 dogs, titch was only bitch all did live in the town so we see them regular but 1 of them oz had to be rehomed with my Nan as the family who had him werent taking him out he didnt get on with there son, i think the son tormented him, so as my nan recently lost her elder border Hector father of mable and maude her other dog who was lonely she took on oz who is coming on leaps and bounds, and maude being his half sister it made it easier. My mum worries red's going to find it hard when we move to our house him being the only dog but im sure he'll be fine, ill still take him out with his sister as we'll only be moving few minutes down the road not far at all. I take him to work with me as much as possible but it;s not convenient all the time so when weve moved in, im sure hell come back and stay during the day. Hes an obstinate terrier, like a lot are but he does come back when off the lead he does have a tendency to wander off but if he cant see me he does come a running, hes only real problem is that if hes sees a dog anyone he has to go investigate and isnt nasty just nosy, but if where walking and hes on the lead then he can have a right go O and if hes see's animals on the TV the he growls at them gets told off for both, but hasnt been cured yet. Took red down stairs after midnight let him out and for the first time in months when he came in went straight into the cage thats in the kitchen, usually he comes back up with me and sleeps on the chair at end of the bedroom. Me dad gets up around 6 so he didnt realise he was down there and red came bombing up the stairs banging on the loft ladders till I went down and got him, but it seems as tho he'd left a present down stairs which he never does up here. Hes asleep on pillow by the side of bed at moment, dont have him on the bed at night as for a small dog he takes up a lot of bed and weve got a super king. Gone off to his chair now knew I was talking about him. Night

I have managed to include another couple of photos the 1st one is of Sid, Chad and Tess. This is when they werent fighting. Sid and Tess are the parents of Red and Titch. I have a good one of all 5 pups down stairs will try and transfer that one up. Night all Tom

Ahhh I was born and bred in Burnham. Now over in the Hanningfields so I haven't travelled far. Used to love the walks from Burnham to Creeksea before all the houses arrived - a long long time ago :lol: We visit regularly because my mother still lives in Burnham - will keep a look out for your dogs! - my youngest dog, Peter, comes from Dengie and the other one, Maggie, comes from Margertting.
