malting; hair everywhere !!!

 Our 8 month old border is malting everywhere !, she is currently in season and has started to shed hair, she still has long hair down the middle of her back, but the sides have gone really soft. Im wondering if this has anything to do with her being in season, can someone please advise, thanks Darren

 I know Harvey loses hair when he's due his strip, but wouldn't say its excessive, not sure if hormones affect them at all. I'm sure someone will be along shortly with a more helpful answer for you. :lol:

 if shes moulting its usually due to the time of year ie spring,autumn is the time of the year when most dogs moult.if we get a bit of a mild spell at this time of year when its been very cold then our dogs will start to moult too.
