Sorry to go on all the time about this lady, but this book is sooooo good. Incorporating TTouch and gentle fun ways to train your dog, its a bloody brilliant read, I'm loving it. Well worth the money, excellently laid out with fab illustrations and loads of great advice. Couldn't be without this book at the mo. Marie Miller (someone correct me if I'm wrong) was one of the founders of the APDT and she has co-written this book with Sarah.

Hi Red Rascal, yes I have, another brilliant read... but this one I just love and keep referring to it again and again. I've already clicker trained Archie to do a lie down on the mat lol! I'd love to take him to the beach like they've illustrated with the weave poles etc, it just looks so lovely in the book, a nice warm summer evening, hmmm, how I miss those lovely hazy summer days :)

I've taken the book out again too, as Rascal was getting a bit naughty again  and a bit of clicker training really seems to settle his behaviour, its' really amazing. I'm trying to teach him to collect him toys and put them in his toy box, its a bit of an ongoing project. ;)

I've just bought this, but haven't had a chance to even open it yet. Just a plug to say, their next book is the one that Fred should be in. ;)

I think it's something like 100 ways to fix your dogs problems, or something along those lines! He was so photogenic for the TTouch stuff they thought they'd try some posing, and he did that so well they had the cheek to unstuff a pillow and made it look like he'd been chewing the sofa up! For all his problems, he's never been destructive - although he loves to unstuff toys. I think the shots they liked he had a 'who me?' expression - and fluff sticking out of his mouth!

I wish I was able to get copies, even if they don't use them!

You should write and ask them for copies, wouldn't be too much of a biggy and it'd be a lovely to have professional photographs of Fred.

I checked the title out on Amazon, couldn't remember the title so did it by author search .... wonder if it's the same Sarah Fisher who specialised in female erotica in the mid 90's!

I absolutely love my copy of this book :D I'm not new to dog ownership by a long shot, but I love the fresh, down to earth way it's been written, how they tell stories about their mistakes as well as successes, and the logical way in which the training "ladder" has been created by going right back to the very basics.

Also I am very proud to say that the very handsome GSD  featured that belongs to Marie Miller is a Lizzies Barn dog :D
