What am I??; Need help in identifying my dog

I don't know how to put a picture of my dog in here. I recently adopted a rescue dog, and while I'm assured he's some sort of terrier mix, nobody, not even the vet, has been able to say with any certainty, exactly where his heritage lies. If someone could tell me how to add a picture, I'd post it here for your opinions. When I click on image, it says to insert an e-mail address. I'm not sure what that means exactly. Help! Thanks, Carole

Adding photos

Have a look at the above link, it tells you how to add photos.

Well, I'm working on adding pictures to My Pet Pages, but they haven't sent me my password yet. In the meantime, I did add Finnegan as my avatar. Any ideas? I had him groomed today, and much to my chagrin, and in spite of my telling them not to, they shaved off his little beard and his overcoat. Now he's all striped. This photo is pre hair messup.

:welcome: Carol and Finnegan - great name. It's very difficult to tell from the small photo on your Avatar and to be honest almost impossible to know what mixture of breed a dog is if the parentage is unknown. You'll probably find everyone will have a different opinion  Try to put up some larger photos - photobucket is quite good too and we'll all have a guess.

I probably did this wrong, but anyway, I put a few pictures of Finnegan (and one of Molly, my other rescue dog) at Photobucket. The one with the scarf is after he got scalped today. He's now striped. Maybe he's part tiger!

Yeah, that didn't work. I guess I give up. I'll copy the link to the pictures here, but I doubt that will work, either.

I'm rubbish at this, but I'm going to have a go.

Looks a bit Scotty like around his face maybe?

Very brindle here though!

Gorgeous anyway! xx

What am I? Very very cute and totally unique :D He is lovely,a real mixture there I should think - possibly Patterdale but where the brindling comes from is anyone's guess.Molly is also

Thanks everyone for looking. Anymore hints will be appreciated. I see a little of the Scottie look, but can't imagine where the brindle could have come from. He was listed as a Cairn Terrier, but geez...compared to my brother's Cairn, well, there's just no comparison. He's the sweetest thing, though, as so is Molly, and I love them both dearly!!

:welcome: He is absolutely lovey! I can see why someone thought cairn because of the colour, but perhaps the other half was a complete Heinz57. He looks quite long in the body and his ears are fairly big too, aren't they?

I think it is safe to say everyone on here has fallen for him
